Good content is hard to find. Leave the dirty work to LOUD3R.
“Good content is hard to find. Leave the dirty work to LOUD3R.” That’s what the LOUD3R site claims but does it deliver? Lets check it out.

A quick Google search for LOUD3R brings up lots of results because LOUD3R runs more than 25 websites. Yes I said 25. But if you click on the “News” link from that Google search you’ll notice that it’s only got a few stories, mostly from bloggers (not that there’s anything wrong with that, some of my best friends are bloggers) and here’s why. LOUD3R just launched today but it’s hard to tell. Usually you have all sorts of craziness that happens when a startup comes out of the gate but the LOUD3R network of sites have a fit & finish on them that makes me feel like they a) work, b) are credible and c) are really nice.
Read the stories and you’ll hear a lot of talk about the “semantic publishing engine” which is great and (probably) all necessary and stuff but really who gives a shit. LOUD3R could be powered by kittens and I wouldn’t care as long as the sites work. Guess what? They do!
I worked with Lowell Goss (LOUD3R CEO) at Yahoo! a while back and what I like about what he’s done here is that LOUD3R is him. You see, Lowell has an opinion. He’s got an opinion about a lot of stuff and just like LOUD3R his opinions are based on what he knows and learns and not based on what he thinks he knows. And while LOUD3R doesn’t know everything you want to know the vertical site-system gives you the opportunity to learn all the rest of the stuff you want to know so that YOU TOO can have an opinion that is real and not made up… and have fun while doing it.
